Ingredients
- 1 kgcarrots
peeled and grated
- 1 literfull cream milk
- 150 gramssugar
- 4 tablespoonsghee
- 1 teaspooncardamom powder
- 10 piecesalmonds
chopped
- 10 piecescashew nuts
chopped
- 10 piecespistachios
chopped
Instructions
Wash, peel, and grate the carrots.
In a deep, heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee on medium heat.
Add the grated carrots to the pan and sauté them in ghee for about 5-7 minutes until they become slightly soft.
Pour the milk into the pan with the carrots and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the milk is completely absorbed and the carrots are cooked well. This should take about 45 minutes.
Add the sugar and cardamom powder. Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens.
Garnish with chopped almonds, cashew nuts, and pistachios. Mix lightly and turn off the heat.
Serve warm or cold as a dessert.
